People who see Wikipedia as a valid source of information need to be hanged.

Why is that? Do The Jews Inc. run it as well? You can only witness firsthand the history which happened in your own lifetime, archaeology alone can only take us so far, so it's necessary to take someone's word for it. Wikipedia is at least publicly edited and reviewed. It's more reliable than anonymous posts at any rate.

Wikipedia is like Democracy. We don't get what we actually need, we get what the largest number of people with a coherent agenda is convinced that we should be given.

Public discourse is great for lots of things. Verifiable things. Science, math, etc. Religions, history and land wars are things that are inherently political and not going to be discussed in a reasonable or truthful way if you allow public participation.
